Simply bring in your gently worn clothing, freshly washed and pressed and preferably on hangers (which can be returned to you). Make sure the clothes are free from stains, tears and other damage.

We take clothes appropriate to the season but if you are unsure please just give us a call and we can advise you what items we are taking at that time. Appointments may be necessary if you have a lot of items to bring in at once.

Prams and Cots

Please ensure your equipment is no older than 5 yrs old. We prefer prams with instruction booklets but it isn't essential. Make sure the pram is thoroughly cleaned and checked to make sure it is in full working order. Cots with bite marks or splits or cracks cannot be accepted. Cots should be dismantled and have all nuts and bolts bagged and fastened to the cot. Please note we cannot sell used mattresses.

All other items

Please note we cannot sell anything electrical as we are not qualified to test it. We also can't sell breast pumps, re-usable nappies, You will be provided with a receipt for all items brought to us. You can contact us at any time to see if your items have sold but we will ring you at the end of each month to let you know which items have sold.

Commission rates.

There are two sets of rates.

If you want cash then we take 40% commission and you keep a full 60% of what the item sells for

You can get a massive 70% of the value in vouchers for the shop. So you can sell your items and then kit out the children all over again. We also sell fabulous ranges of brand new toys, soft furnishings and furniture and you can use your vouchers for any of these!

All the items we buy and sell must meet current safety standards and be in step with current styles.

However ask to display your items for sale on our notice board - we can't sell them but it doesn't mean you can't!!
